The Recommendation amending the Recommendation by ICCAT to Establish a Multi-annual Recovery Plan for Bluefin Tuna in the Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean [Rec. 08-05] requires that each ICCAT Contracting Party, Cooperating non-Contracting Party, Entity or Fishing Entity fishing for eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean bluefin tuna submit electronically to the ICCAT Secretariat, by 1 March each year, the list of traps authorized to fish east Atlantic and Mediterranean bluefin tuna.
The ICCAT Record of E-BFT traps contains the lists of traps authorized to be used to fish for, retain, transfer or land bluefin tuna by each CPC.
