The ICCAT Record of Vessels comprises the following Records as established by ICCAT Recommendations

ICCAT Record of Vessels 20m or greater, established by the Recommendation by ICCAT Concerning the Establishment of an ICCAT Record of Vessels 20 m or greater Authorized to Operate in the Convention Area [Rec.13-13]. Vessels 20 m or greater not entered on this Record are deemed not to be authorized to fish for tuna or tuna-like species in the ICCAT Convention area.

ICCAT Record of Carrier Vessels, established under the Recommendation by ICCAT Establishing a Programme for Transhipment [Rec.12-06], contains vessels authorized to receive transhipments of tuna and tuna-like species in the ICCAT Convention area from large-scale tuna longline vessels.

ICCAT Record of BFT Catching Vessels, established under the Recommendation Amending the Recommendation by ICCAT to Establish a Multi-Annual Recovery Plan for Bluefin Tuna in the Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean [Rec. 13-07], contains vessels authorized to fish actively for bluefin tuna in the eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea.

ICCAT Record of BFT Other Vessels, established under Rec. 13-07, contains all other fishing vessels (i.e. catching vessels excluded) authorized to operate for bluefin tuna in the eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea.

ICCAT Record of SWO-MED Vessels, established under Rec. 13-04 contains fishing vessels authorised to catch swordfish in the Mediterranean Sea.

ICCAT Record of BET/YFT (TROP) vessels, established under Rec. 11-01 contains fishing vessels authorised to fish for bigeye and yellowfin tuna in the ICCAT Convention area.

List of Chartered vessels, as reported under Rec. 13-14, shows the current arrangements and chartering duration.

- (blank) in the ICCAT Record indicates that no information is available. This may be due to the information not having been submitted; that requirement is not applicable; or that the information cannot be submitted for reasons of confidentiality under domestic legislation.
