ACCORD ENTRE L’ICCAT ET LA REVUE AQUATIC LIVING RESOURCES EN CE QUI CONCERNE LES PUBLICATIONS
En 2007, l’ICCAT a conclu un accord avec la revue scientifique Aquatic Living Resources (ALR) en vertu duquel une section permanente allait être établie dans le magazine, dans ses éditions imprimée et électronique, qui serait consacrée aux documents relatifs aux thonidés, aux espèces apparentées et aux autres espèces présentant un intérêt dans le domaine de l’ICCAT. Cet accord visait à renforcer l’impact des documents scientifiques présentés au SCRS au sein de la communauté scientifique.
Le premier numéro conjoint a été publié en 2008 et incluait des documents présentés au SCRS en 2007.
La procédure établie aux fins de l’inclusion des documents dans ALR prévoit un processus de présélection réalisé par un Comité éditorial, créé au sein du SCRS, et/ou les rapporteurs des groupes d’espèces. Pareillement, les auteurs peuvent proposer l’inclusion de documents à ce processus de présélection. Postérieurement, les documents présélectionnés sont envoyés à ALR afin d’être soumis à un processus d’examen par les pairs du magazine.
L’accès complet aux documents publiés dans le magazine est limité aux abonnés au cours des deux premières années. A partir de cette période, l’accès à l’édition électronique est libre.
